Kupwara, March 15 : In light of continuous rains and snowfall, the District Administration of Kupwara has announced the closure of all schools in Machil, Keran, Budnambal, Kumkadi, Jumagund, and the upper regions of Karnah.
The closure will remain in effect until March 17, 2025, ensuring the safety of students and staff.
The decision comes as adverse weather conditions continue to impact the region, making travel difficult and unsafe. (KNS)
