Sardar Patel National Divyang T20 Cup: J&K lifts title, defeats Haryana by 16 runs in finals

Srinagar, Nov 07: Jammu and Kashmir cricket team of specially-abled persons lifted the trophy of Sardar Patel National Divyang T20 Cup 2022, while defeating Haryana by 16 runs in the final match played on Monday at KD Singh Babu Stadium, Lucknow, UP.
After winning the toss, team J&K elected to bat first and made a total of 87 runs for loss of 10 wickets in just 16.2 overs.
 
For team J&K, Aamir Hassan Scored 29 runs while facing 23 balls, Wasim Iqbal contributed important 24 runs of 19 balls while as Baljeet scored 19 of 30 balls.
 
For Haryana, Amin Bhumbak took three wickets, giving away 17 runs in 4 overs. three batters become prey of Pawan Kumar, who gave away 16 runs in his four over quota. Two wickets went to Sunny and one to Anil Chhoker.
Chasing the target of 88 runs, team Haryana fell short of 16 runs and could only score 71 runs while losing its all wickets in just 18.3 overs.
The top scorers with bat from team Haryana were Baljeet, who made 19 of 30 while as 17 of 32 came from Anil Chhoker’s bat. whereas rest of the team could not covert their score to double digits.
For J&K,Aamir Hassan took three wickets in 3.3 overs, while Pawan Kumar and Amin Bhumbak took three wickets each.
The day eight long Sardar Patel National Divyang T20 Cup 2022, started on October 31 and concluded on November 07 with J&K emerging champions today. A total of 20 specially-abled (Divyang) State or UT cricket teams across India participated in this tournament and showcased their talent.
