Reasi Badminton Championship commences under civic action programme

Reasi, Mar 04: A Two days district ‘Reasi Badminton Championship’ tournament is being organised at indoor stadium MaariReasi by Reasi Police under Civic Action Programme of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
DySP headquarter Reasi Neeraj Padyar-JKPS alongwith SHO P/S Reasi Insp. Vijay Sharma Singh inaugurated the event and witnessed the inaugural match of different categories at indoor sports stadium Reasi.
58 Players & coaches from different parts of the district are participating. In a series of matches 22 teams for ‘Men single’ & 18 teams for ‘Men Double’ players are sporting for the Championship Titles.
Speaking on the occasion Neeraj PadyarDy.SPHqrs. Reasi conveyed that Jammu and Kashmir Police is providing the avenues to the youth so that they can show their hidden talent and youth of J&K have been taking the benefits of these activities Organised by Jammu Kashmir Police from time to time. In this event players expressed with confidence to perform better & win the champion’s title.
Dy.SPHqrs. Reasi further added that Sports activities are prerequisite for a healthy youth and youth of Reasi are participating in these events with enthusiasm.
Surinder Sharma President Badminton Association Reasi along with Vikas Sharma, Abhinav Sharma and others Expressed gratitude to J&K police &Dy.SPHqrs. Reasi for sparing his time from his busy schedule to promote sports activities in Reasi which is required for welfare of youth of the district.
Students from different Colleges/Schools also witnesses the event and cheers up for the players who are competing to grab the winner tittle in different categories.
