Srinagar, Sep 13: The Inter Sector Athletics Tournament-2023, hosted at the 21 Bn CRPF at GC Srinagar, witnessed fierce competition and outstanding athleticism as all operational units of the Srinagar sector, totaling 23 teams, participated in the event from September 11th to September 13th.
In a remarkable display of sportsmanship and athletic prowess, the 73 Bn CRPF secured the first position in the tournament, solidifying their dominance by clinching an impressive tally of 06 Gold, 01 Silver, and 01 Bronze medals, accumulating a total of 08 medals. This outstanding performance earned them the coveted championship trophy.
The trophy was ceremoniously presented by Jaidev Kesri, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) North, who praised the dedication and skill of the participants. The championship trophy was received by Raj Kumar, Commandant of the 73 Bn CRPF, along with the victorious team.
In his congratulatory message, Jaidev Kesri, DIG North, extended his heartiest greetings to all the participating athletes, commending their hard work and commitment to excellence in sports.
