Rajouri, Jan 25: Dr Mohd Haseeb Mughal (IPS), DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, administered the pledge to the staff at RPHQ Rajouri on the 14th National Voters Day on Thursday.
The theme for this year’s National Voters Day, “Nothing like voting, I vote for sure”, reflects individuals’ sentiments and aspirations toward participating in the electoral process through the power of their vote.
Approximately 60 officers and officials participated in the ceremony, including Pervaiz Alam DySP Staff officer, Sunil Dhar Dy.SP (S) Private Secretary to DIG, Inspector Naseer Ahmed, Inspector Ashfaq Mughal, and other officers/officials of RPHQ Rajouri.
During the ceremony, all participants took the pledge, expressing their commitment to upholding the democratic traditions of the country, ensuring free, fair and peaceful elections, and voting fearlessly without succumbing to influences based on religion, race, caste, community, language or any inducement. The event culminated with a reaffirmation of faith in democracy and the democratic process.
