Srinagar, July 08: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha participated in the ‘EkPedMaaKeNaam’ plantation drive, a initiative launched by Prime Minister NarendraModi. The Lt Governor planted a Golden Cypress sapling at Raj Bhawan, Srinagar, as part of the campaign.
Emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation, the Lt Governor urged the public to join the campaign and plant a tree in honour of their mothers, dedicating themselves to protecting the environment and Mother Earth. Senior officials from the Lt Governor’s Secretariat also participated in the drive, planting tree saplings in the Raj Bhawan premises.
