Jammu, Feb 08: Pankhuri Malhotra, a young dance prodigy of class IV from Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the institution and her parents by winning Silver Medal in National Level Dance Sports Championship organized by National Singing Unit and Dance Sports Association, Bharat held from 3-5 February, 2023 at Katra, J&K. Total 300 students out of 21 states Pan India participated in the said championship and Pankhuri won medal in the age group of 8-10 years. She performed the Semi-Classical dance in the final round.
Earlier, she had also won Gold Medal in J&K Dance Sports Championship 2022-23 held from 7-8 January, 2023. Pankhuri performed the Punjabi folk dance in the final round and won gold medal, Certificate of Appreciation and an Award of Appreciation in the same age group.
Principal-DPS Jammu, Ms. Ruchi Chabra congratulated the talented dancer Pankhuri Malhotra for her glorious achievement and encouraged her to continue to excel in this field with the same spirit.
