Srinagar, July 09: PAN Healthcare Pvt Ltd, a company based in Rajkot, Gujarat, has launched a new initiative to provide free sanitary pad vending machines to schools and colleges. The company, which is a part of the PAN Group of companies involved in various sectors, wants to make high-quality and affordable hygiene products accessible to all.
Established in 2016, PAN Healthcare is committed to the “Make in India” vision and aims to support the country’s self-sufficiency. Previously, basic hygiene products like sanitary pads had to be imported. However, PAN Healthcare now offers advanced technology and quality hygiene products at affordable prices, not only serving consumers across India but also exporting to 10 countries.
As a part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, PAN Healthcare has introduced this initiative to address menstrual health and ensure the availability of good quality sanitary pads in educational institutions. They plan to install sanitary pad vending machines in various schools and colleges, making it easier for students to access sanitary pads when needed.
The inauguration of this initiative was conducted by Dr. Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary, who holds important positions in Jammu & Kashmir’s Tribal Affairs Department and Youth Mission, as well as Skill Development. Along with the vending machines, PAN Healthcare has also developed a free mobile application called “Pocket Gynaecologist.”
This app, available on Google’s Play Store, provides pregnant women with guidance from gynecologists and child doctors, allowing them to receive the best advice for a healthy pregnancy from the comfort of their own homes.
PAN Healthcare encourages everyone to come together in ensuring the safety and well-being of women by supporting these progressive steps. The company’s dealer and distributor network, along with its key officials, including the CEO & Managing Director, Director, President, and General Manager of Sales, were present during the announcement.
By promoting access to affordable sanitary pads and providing comprehensive pregnancy guidance through innovative technology, PAN Healthcare aims to contribute to a healthier India and empower women across the country.
