Jammu, Nov 4: BJP national general secretary and incharge of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh,Tarun Chugh today said that terrorists in J&K are a frustrated lot and their attempt to create panic among people is not only reprehensible but is an act of cowardice.

Strongly condemning the incident of grenade attack at the Sunday market near the Tourist Reception Centre in Srinagar Chugh said terrorism has been largely wiped out of the union territory but Pakistan-supported terrorists have been making desperate attempts to spread violence.

He said the security forces would give them a befitting reply and it is time NCP leaders like Farooq Abdullah should stop talking about Pakistan. “It is signals sent by the Abdullahs that keep encouraging the Pakistan-sponsored terrorists to indulge in violent activities in J&K.

He said the peaceful conduct of the recent Assembly and Lok Sabha elections testified that people in J&K want peace and development in a democratic manner.
