Srinagar, June 26: In an effort to ensure uninterrupted sports activities for its students, Amar Singh College has issued a notice requesting outsiders and local residents to refrain from using the college playground during official hours. The college authorities have emphasized that the playground is primarily meant for the students of the institution.
With approximately 5000 boys and girls enrolled in various disciplines, Amar Singh College is a renowned multidisciplinary institution in the valley. The college witnesses a significant influx of students on a daily basis, and the playground serves as a vital space for their sporting endeavors as per the college sports calendar.
However, it has come to the attention of the college administration that outsiders have been entering the college sports ground through the backside during official hours. This intrusion has disrupted the sports activities of the college’s students, hindering their ability to utilize the facilities effectively.
To address this issue, the college administration has released an official statement, urging the general public and residents in the vicinity of Amar Singh College to respect the primary purpose of the playground. According to the notice, no outsider will be allowed access to the playground during official hours, which are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Nevertheless, the college authorities have also acknowledged the interest of the local residents, clubs, and other organizations in utilizing the college playground for their own recreational purposes. To accommodate these requests, the notice states that individuals or groups wishing to use the playground after official hours or on holidays must obtain proper permission from the college authorities.
By implementing these measures, Amar Singh College aims to protect the rights of its students to participate in sports activities without any disruption. The college authorities have expressed their hope that the public will adhere to these guidelines, allowing the students to make the most of the available sporting facilities during official hours while also accommodating the recreational needs of the community.
