One killed, 11 injured in Tral road accident

Pulwama, Aug 31 : One person was killed and 11 others were injured in a road accident in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
Station House Officer ( SHO) Tral Manzoor Ahmad informed Rising Kashmir that a Wagon R car and a Taveera had a head on collision at Nawdal area of Tral resulting in injuries to around 12 people. He said that the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital( SDH) Tral.
Doctors at SDH Tral told Rising Kashmir that they received around 12 injured .
“The injured were given preliminary treatment at SDH Tral,” Dr Zahoor Ahmad, said, adding that around 7 injured were shifted to Srinagar for specialised treatment.
Police and doctors said that one of the injured succumbed to injuries at Srinagar.
The deceased was identified as Assad Ullah Bhat, resident of Shareef Abad Tral.
They said that the deceased was a patient who was returning from Srinagar in a wagon R car which collided with a passenger vehicle accident at Nawdal Tral.
The injured included Tariq Ahmad Bhat, Raja Norul Hassan, Rutba Zehra, Fayaz Ahmad, Showkat Ahmad, Iqra Jan, Javid Ahmad Reshi,Iqra Jan, Bazila Jan, Farooq Ahmad Bhat and Leenah.
