Srinagar., July 30: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Northern Command, visited Dachigam area of Srinagar to commend troops for their outstanding performance in the recently concluded Operation Mahadev.
Army Spokesman said that Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, visited Kashmir’s Dachigam to compliment and felicitate troops for their resilient action, as also swift and successful execution of OP MAHADEV in Lidwas on 28 Jul 25, where three hardcore terrorists were neutralised.
“Northern Command stands by its commitment to keep Kashmir terror-free,” he said.
Later he also visited Higher CommandCourse-54 Visit – Northern Command. Officers from triservices attending the prestigious course were briefed on operational and operational logistics peculiarities and nuances of Northern Command.
The spokesman said Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, also addressed the officers on the current security scenario and likely future contours, the session culminated with an interactive session.
