Single-lane traffic restored on Jammu–Srinagar highway after blockage

Jammu, Apr 6: A single lane of the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway has been reopened for traffic after several hours of disruption, officials confirmed on Monday.

The highway was blocked due to landslides and falling stones in Ramban district, which left many vehicles stranded. Road clearance teams worked to remove debris and make the route passable again.

For now, traffic is being allowed in a regulated manner on the cleared stretch, while efforts are still ongoing to fully restore the highway. Authorities have urged commuters to follow official traffic advisories and avoid unnecessary travel until the road is completely cleared.
