Srinagar, Apr 07: Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday claimed to have busted a major interstate module linked to Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba by arresting five persons, including two foreign terrorists, officials said.
A top police official confirmed to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that among the arrested individuals is a top wanted LeT terrorist Abdullah alias Abu Hureira, who had been arrest for the last 16 years.
He said that the Jammu and Kashmir police the operation to bust the interstate module was carried out at multiple locations across several states. "Other individuals, who have been arrested include another Pakistani terrorist Usman alias Khubaib and three Srinagar residents—Mohammad Naqeeb Bhat, Adil Rashid Bhat and Ghulam Mohammad Mir alias Mama," he added.
The official said that further investigation into the case is still ongoing—(KNO)
