NC leadership condoles demise of party leader’s daughter

Srinagar, Jul 28: National Conference (NC) president Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President  & Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of the daughter of senior party leader, Abdul Rashid Nengroo of Pulwama.In their condolence message, the leaders extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul. “May Almighty Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat and bestow strength and patience to the family during this difficult time,” they said.Party General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, senior leaders, including Cabinet Minister Sakina Itoo, MLA Pulwama Ghulam Mohammad Mir, and District President Pulwama Mohammad Khalil Bandh, visited the bereaved family in Pulwama to offer their condolences and stand in solidarity with the bereaved family during their hour of loss. They offered fateha and prayed for peace for the departed soul.Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq and Provincial President Showkat Mir also extended sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family.
