Srinagar, Jan17: The 10th Sub Junior and Junior (Boys and Girls) National Pencak Silat Championship 2022-2023 was held from January 13 to January 16 at the district sports complex, Shri Guru Govind Jii Stadium, Nanded Maharashtra, where Imdad Ali of the Grand Warriors Academy Srinagar took the silver medal.
In his weight category, Imdad Ali finished second among competitors from 34 States and UTs.
Imdad Ali got selected for the 6th Federation cup which is going to be held in Goa from the 19th to the 21st of January. But unfortunately due to his health condition, he is coming back home.
The LP School’s secretary, Rouf Ahmed, stated that this academy is making great efforts to assist the next generation of athletes.
This event had over 1200 players from various Indian states.
