Srinagar, Feb 17: JKSPYM State Level Coordinating Agency J&K (SLCA J&K) organised a one-day certificate training for Master-Volunteers of Srinagar district under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) in collaboration with NISD, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India and district administration Srinagar at Auditorium DC Complex, Amar Niwas Srinagar. DSWO Srinagar, Mukhtar Ahmad in his keynote address, emphasized the urgency of tackling substance abuse, describing it as a severe issue affecting the youth in Jammu and Kashmir UT. He encouraged the master volunteers to make the most of the training, equipping themselves with the skills and knowledge to combat this growing challenge.
Resource persons from SLCA delivered comprehensive presentations on drug abuse trends in India, followed by vibrant discussions, interactive sessions, and group activities. The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, honoring the commitment of the trained master volunteers to the cause.
