Muharram procession in Magam: Advisory issued for vehicular traffic along Sgr-Gulmarg road

Budgam, July 17 : In view of the Muharram procession in Magam on July 18 , the Traffic Police department has released an advisory regarding the movement of vehicular traffic along the Srinagar-Gulmarg road.
Motorists are strongly advised to refrain from unnecessary travel on the Srinagar-Gulmarg road on Thursday.

However, during the procession, traffic will be redirected through the following routes:

(1) Beerwah bound traffic coming from Narbal shall be diverted at Kanihama chowk via Batapora, Roshanabad bridge, SK Pora and RudBugh Beerwah.

(2) Gulmarg-Tangmarg Kunzar bound traffic coming from Narbal shall be diverted at Kanihama via Railway Station Mazhama-Nooripora-Archinderhama-Gund Khawaja Qasim-Kogamdara-Ahmadpora towards Chilchlora, to Gulmarg-Tangmarg road.

(3) Srinagar bound traffic from Tangmarg-Gulmarg-Kunzar shall be diverted at Chichlora via Kralpora, Magam-Ahmad pora-Kongamdara – Singhpora (NHW).

(4) Beerwah bound traffic from Tangmarg-Kunzar shall be diverted at Chichlora via Goigam, Budran-Beerwah.

(5) Srinagar bound traffic from Beerwah shall be diverted at Watamagam Crossing via Watamagam-Pethkanihama- Batapora- Bon-Kanihama.

(6) Tangmarg-Gulmarg-Kunzar bound traffic from Beerwah shall be diverted at Budran crossing via Budran-Goigam link road from Watamagam crossing up to Batapora chowk.
