MP Mian Altaf seeks compensation for Anantnag, Kulgam fire victims

Srinagar, Nov 03: National Conference (NC) Member of Parliament for the Anantnag-Rajouri constituency, Mian Altaf Ahmed has expressed grief over the tragic fire incidents in the Anantnag and Kulgam areas of south Kashmir.
In a statement issued here, the MP said two devastating fires occurred recently in the Khanabal area of Anantnag district and the Daderkoot area of Kulgam district, damaging several residential houses and a Jamia Masjid, resulting in a huge loss of property.
Mian Altaf urged the district administrations of Anantnag and Kulgam to immediately provide adequate compensation and relief materials to those affected by the fires. The MP called for immediate assistance for the rehabilitation of the victims, especially given the current weather conditions.
