MLA Yudhvir calls for well maintenance of healthcare institutions

Jammu, Jul 09: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi on Wednesday stressed the importance of well-maintained healthcare institutions in ensuring the well-being of the common people.Inaugurating the newly constructed tile work at Swami Vivekananda Hospital, he said, “Swami Vivekananda Hospital stands as a symbol of service and dedication. The newly completed development work reflects our commitment to upgrading facilities and ensuring a clean and patient-friendly environment.”This development work is a significant improvement aimed at improving the overall hygiene and infrastructure of the hospital premises. Completed at an estimated cost of Rs 10.42 lakh, it marks another step forward in enhancing patient care facilities and public health infrastructure in the region, the MLA’s office said in a statement issued here.Addressing the gathering, Sethi lauded the efforts of the hospital management and staff in providing quality healthcare services to the people at very reasonable and affordable rates. “Such institutions play a vital role in supplementing the government’s vision of accessible and inclusive healthcare for all sections of society,” he said.The MLA assured the public and hospital management that every possible effort will be made to bring more infrastructural improvements, expand services, and promote quality healthcare through collaborative efforts with government bodies and public participation.The hospital management and local residents appreciated Yudhvir Sethi’s proactive role in uplifting public institutions and his consistent engagement with grassroots development initiatives, the statement said.
