Kupwara, July 28: In a remarkable step towards empowering youth and promoting self-employment, district administration Kupwara today organized a formal disbursement event under Mission YUVA in the meeting hall of DC Office Kupwara.According to a statement issued here, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, handed over 50 sanction letters amounting to Rs.3 crores to eligible beneficiaries, marking a significant milestone in the district’s youth empowerment journey.The event was graced by the presence of ADDC Kupwara, Mufti Fareed ud Din; Cluster Head JK bank, Abdul Majid Bhat and LDM, Tariq Ahmad Jan, who reaffirmed institutional support to nurture local entrepreneurship and economic self-reliance among the youth.Speaking on the occasion, DC lauded the beneficiaries and urged them to utilize the opportunity with commitment and innovation. She highlighted the administration’s unwavering resolve to transform youth into job creators under Mission YUVA, a flagship initiative designed to channelize the potential of young minds into productive enterprises.
