Srinagar, Aug 23: Carrying forward the UT Government’s Mission YUVA program to nurture youth entrepreneurship and promote financial inclusion, J&K Bank organized a series of ‘Login Day’ events across multiple districts in Jammu and Kashmir this week. The events aimed to connect aspiring entrepreneurs with credit opportunities and hand over fresh sanction letters to beneficiaries at the local level.According to a statement issued here, to date, under Mission YUVA, the Bank has sanctioned 3202 entrepreneurial cases and disbursed funds in 1398 cases across the Union Territory, demonstrating steady progress in supporting young entrepreneurs. One such Login Day event titled ‘Roz e YUVA’ was held in Pulwama, presided over by General Manager Syed Rais Maqbool, alongside Zonal Head (Pulwama) Irfan Anjum, District Employment & Counselling Officer, senior district administration representatives, and Bank officials. Dozens of new sanction letters were distributed to successful applicants. Speaking on the occasion, GM Syed Rais Maqbool said, “Mission YUVA is about more than financial access—it’s about building self-belief in our youth. By linking them with formal banking, entrepreneurship support, and essential social security coverage, we are paving the way for their long-term empowerment.”He also highlighted the critical importance of enrolling beneficiaries in various social security schemes and urged Bank staff to intensify outreach for inclusive enrolment.A similar event in Ramban saw the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) celebrate Udyami YUVA Day. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Kha along with the Bank’s General Manager Rajesh Gupta and senior officials of district administration, formally distributed sanction letters to beneficiaries. In his remarks, the Deputy Commissioner stated, “I commend J&K Bank for driving Mission YUVA in partnership with the government. Initiatives like these ensure quick and effective delivery of employment programmes, creating opportunities where they are needed most.”General Manager Rajesh Gupta said, “The response from the youth has been inspiring. Mission YUVA is providing timely credit and critical handholding to help turn entrepreneurial ideas into reality.” In Udhampur, General Manager Rakesh Magotra, along with senior government officials, led the distribution of sanction letters and hosted interactive discussions with beneficiaries on employment generation schemes and ongoing support.  He further said, “J&K Bank is committed to empowering young entrepreneurs with the credit and support they need to launch successful ventures. Through close coordination with district administrations, we ensure a seamless experience and proper guidance at every stage.” A parallel programme at Ganderbal that falls under Bank”s Budgam Zone, led by General Manager & CRO Altaf Hussain Kira, likewise saw fresh sanction letters delivered to beneficiaries.
