Kathua, Aug 29: The District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) met today under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma and approved 290 new cases under the Mission YUVA initiative.According to a statement issued here, with these approvals, the cumulative number of sanctioned cases in the district has reached 522.While reviewing the progress of the scheme, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Skill Development and Business Unit (SBDU) to expedite the verification of pending cases and ensure timely handholding to the beneficiaries for effective implementation of the mission.Mission YUVA, a flagship initiative, is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and self-reliance among youth by extending financial assistance and mentorship support. The approval of the new cases is expected to provide a substantial boost to the entrepreneurial ecosystem and economic growth of the district.
