Manzoor Bhat felicitates players of Ashok Koul Snow Cricket tournament in Gurez

Srinagar March 12: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP’s) In-charge Media and IT Department Manzoor Bhat on Sunday felicitated the participants of Ashok Koul snow cricket tournament in Wanapora area of Gurez valley.
He was accompanied by DDC Member Tulail Ajaz Khan and BDC chairperson Fehmeeda Akhter.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhat said that the PM Modi has praised the snow cricket match, recognizing its potential to attract tourism to the beautiful region of Kashmir.
He shares this sentiment and believes that events like these can play an important role in promoting tourism and economic growth in the area.
In addition to promoting tourism, Bhat believes that the snow cricket also sends a message of peace and goodwill.
He said Kashmir has long been a region of conflict and tension, and events like these can help to bring people together and promote understanding and harmony.
Bhat said he is proud to have been a part of this event and looks forward to continuing to work with the people of Kashmir to build a brighter and more prosperous future for the region.
Speaking at the occasion Aijaz khan who was guest of honor in the event expressed his enthusiasm for the sport and praised the participants for their skills and dedication. He said such events will help boost the tourism besides providing opportunity to the locals to showcase their talent and spend their leisure time in productive work.
He also highlighted the importance of sports in bringing people together and fostering a sense of community and unity.
The DDC member added that BJP is committed to supporting events like these in the future and working to promote tourism and economic growth in Kashmir.
Khan hopes that the success of the snow cricket match will inspire others to visit the region and discover its beauty and rich cultural heritage.
