Jammu , Apr 04: In a strategic move ahead of the upcoming LokSabha elections in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), the BharatiyaJanata Party (BJP) has outlined an extensive campaign itinerary for its star candidates, including Prime Minister NarendraModi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and prominent celebrities HemaMalini, SmritiIrani, and KangnaRanaut.
Following comprehensive security assessments by intelligence agencies, it has been confirmed that Prime Minister NarendraModi’s mega election rally will be held at Modi Stadium in Udhampur on April 12. Similarly, Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s rally is scheduled for the Raipur-Domana Assembly constituency on April 9.
Sources within the BJP have revealed that Bollywood luminaries HemaMalini, SmritiIrani, and KangnaRanowat are slated to visit J&K for campaign events during the second and third weeks of this month. The BJP’s meticulous planning ensures that their rallies cover crucial LokSabha constituencies, namely Jammu-Reasi and Udhampur-Kathua-Doda, in the Jammu region.
The BJP’s J&K unit has devised a detailed campaign plan for its star campaigners, which has been submitted to the party high command for approval. This plan includes proposals for rallies in all 20 districts of J&K, aligning with local demands and demographics.
In the plan submitted to the party high command, the J&K BJP has demanded/proposed election rallies of the party’s top star campaigners in the different areas all the UT of J&K as per local demands and demography.
The J&K BJP has demanded from the party high command that the election rallies of the star campaigners of the party, especially the top ones, be held in all the 20 districts of J&K.
The Parliamentary elections in J&K UT for all five (5) LokSabha seats would be held in five phases. Each phase will cover one seat each.
The elections for 5 LokSabha seats of J&K will start from April 19. On April 19, election will be held for Kathua-UdhampurLokSabha seat, on April 26, election will be held for Jammu-Reasi seat, on May 7, election will be held for newly created Rajouri-AnantnagLokSabha seat, on May 13, election will be held for Srinagar seat, and on May 26, the election will be held for BaramullaLokSabha seat of Kashmir region.
