Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday extended a warm welcome to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at Raj Bhawan in Jammu.
The Raksha Mantri, who arrived in Jammu to take stock of the situation arising out of the recent cloudburst and landslides in Kishtwar district, was received by the LG at Raj Bhawan.
“Singh is scheduled to meet the injured at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and shall also hold a meeting here before returning to Delhi,” Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha said.
A cloudburst struck Chisoti village on August 14, killing 65 persons and injuring over 100 others, while the search for 32 other missing persons is still underway.
