KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir Parts

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out the hardware fittings and stringing works in 11 KV Nehama feeders under RDSS works in district Pulwama by Project Division Pulwama, shutdown of 33KV Pampore-Pulwama line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Newa, Kakapora, LIS Marvel Stage-I, II, III & IV shall remain off while power supply to Kakapora, Railway, Pahoo, Nehama, Newa, Gudoora, Zadoor, Parigam, Narbal and adjoining areas will be affected from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 27 & 30 August, 2025.

Similarly, to facilitate cutting down of poplar trees near 33 KV Khellan line, shutdown of 33KV Khellan Tap line Awantipora- Sangam-I shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Khellan shall remain off while power supply to Rakh, Litter, Naina, Batpora, Khellan and adjoining areas will be affected from 08:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on 27 August, 2025.

Also in order to carry out the completion work of punch points of 33 KV Nowbugh Chari Sharief line raised by Inspection Division and stabilization of 33 KV Nowbugh Chadoora line, shutdown of 33 KV Nowbugh-Nagam line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Char-I, Char-II, Hafroo & Nagam shall remain off while power supply to Kakawring, Yousmarg, Char Town, Rakhe, ITI, Shrine, Tilsera, Alamdar Colony, Town, Badipora, Nagam, Hayatpora, Hafroo, Bizgo, Loolipora and adjoining areas will be affected from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 26 August, 2025.

Moreover, shutdown of 33KV Nowbugh-Chadoora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Chadoora, Panzan, Ranger & Wathoora shall remain off while power supply to Sogam, Rapora, Dawlatpora, Panzan, Lalgam, Chadoora Town, Chadoora Hospital, Wathoora, Bugam, Gudsathoo, Laalgam, Kathair Gund and adjoining areas will be affected from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 26 August, 2025.
