Srinagar, Feb 05: In a heartwarming display of innocence and joy, twin sisters, Zaiba Binti Talib and Zainab Binti Talib, aged six, from Kandiwara Kokernag in south Kashmir, have captivated the internet with their delightful video celebrating the season’s first snowfall. The charming duo, dressed alike, garnered attention from renowned industrialist Anand Mahindra, who shared their video on social media, reaching his 11 million followers.
Standing in a snow-covered street, the twins joyfully exclaimed, “Hume to aaj bohot mazza aa raha. Hum yahan pe bohot zyada enjoy kar rahe hain, masti kar rahe hai” (We are having a lot of fun here), referring to their snowy surroundings as “Jannat” or heaven.
Anand Mahindra, impressed by the video, shared it on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption “Sleds on Snow Or Shayari on Snow, “My vote goes to the second one.” The video quickly went viral, amassing over 404k views and numerous likes.
The twins’ father, Talib Hussain Mir, told Rising Kashmir that Zaiba and Zainab have been actively vlogging for two years, managed by their mother. Enrolled in Radiant Public School Batengoo Anantnag, the sisters, with a substantial following on YouTube and Instagram, create diverse content, including Islamic teachings. Anand Mahindra’s share propelled them to viral status, earning praise for being a “cute overload” and the “best thing on the internet today.”
Zaiba and Zainab, with a substantial following of around 1.29 lakh on YouTube and 1.78 lakh on Instagram, have become social media sensations. The duo creates diverse content, ranging from Islamic teachings to other engaging subjects. Remarkably, they manage their studies alongside their passion, as their father, Talib Hussain Mir, highlighted the importance of a balance between education and pursuing one’s interests.
