Kargil, Dec 04: The Administration of Kargil has officially announced the winter vacation schedule for all government and private educational institutions in the district.
The decision, taken as per the directive of the Hon’ble Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC Kargil, and approved by the Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Kargil, will be implemented in a phased manner to ensure a smooth transition.
According to the order Classes 1 to 8: Winter vacation will commence from December 5, 2024, and continue until March 5, 2025 while the Classes 9 to 12: The vacation will begin on December 15, 2024, and will also conclude on March 5, 2025.
This decision has been made considering the harsh winter conditions in the region. The administration has urged all institutions to comply with the guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff during the winter months.
