J&K Skippers won medals in 23rd National Rope Skipping Championship

Jammu, Oct 21: Fourteen players of Jammu and Kashmir won medal comprising – 1 Gold , 4 Silver & 9 Bronze in the recently concluded 23rd National Rope Skipping – Jump Rope Championship 2022 organised by Rope Skipping Federation of India at TalkatoraStadium,Delhi from 17th to 19th October 2022.
In the championship nearly 1000 students from the 18 States including Union Territories participated. The J&K team was accompanied by Danish Sharma, Technical Director Rope Skipping Association of J&K along with other coaches ArusaIssar, SiniaAbrol, SimranjeetKour, Gaurav Kumar, Manish Gill and Harsh Vardhan Raina. The whole team went under the supervision of Tarsem Sharma, Treasurer Rope skipping federation of India.
Kartik Saini won Gold Medal in U/11 Age Category (Event- Double Under 30 Seconds ) ,while MedhaviLakhanpal, RidhikaMehra, Akira KourIshar and DrishtiVerma won Silver Medal in U/11 Age Category (Event- Double Dutch Speed Relay) while Rajveer Singh won Bronze Medal in U/11 Age Category (Event- One leg switch Single Bounce 30 Seconds ),Saanvi Sunil won Bronze Medal in U/14 Age Category (Event- One Leg Switch Single Bounce 30 Seconds) , Akshara Sharma won Bronze Medal in U/11 Age Category (Event- Freestyle ), Radhika Sharma won Bronze Medal in U/11 Age Category (Event- Speed Sprint 30 Seconds ), DarshBhat won Bronze Medal in U/11 Age Category (Event- Speed Endurance)
While ZayinDobriyal, Shivang Kumar, Nitin Kumar and Vardaan Singh clinched Bronze Medal in U/17 Age Category (Event- SR Speed Relay).
Dr.Navneet Gupta – General Secretary & Sh. Sunil Kumar Sawhney – Secretary- RSAJK congratulated all the medal winners and participants for giving wonderful performance at such a big platform and bringing laurels to our J&K UT.
