Srinagar, Apr 08: The Jammu and Kashmir government has granted three days of Special Casual Leave to Kashmiri Migrant Employees posted in the Kashmir Valley during the LokSabha Elections 2024.
As per the official communication, the leave is specifically for those eligible to vote at Special Polling Stations set up in Jammu, Udhampur, or Delhi during different phases of the elections.
Kashmiri Migrant Employees will be entitled to the Special Casual Leave on specific dates corresponding to the parliamentary poll days, it said adding that for instance, employees posted in the Anantnag-Rajouri constituency will have leave from May 6th to May 8th and from May 12th to May 14th, while those in the Srinagar and Baramulla constituencies will have leave from May 19 to May 21.
