The Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department (GAD) on Wednesday directed all Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Departments (HoDs) not to sanction leave to employees in view of the prevailing situation.
An order issued by Additional Secretary to the Government, Rohit Sharma, stated, “In view of the prevailing situation all Administrative Secretaries and Head of the Departments working under their administrative control are requested not to sanction any kind of leave in favour of any employee, except under exceptional circumstances.”
