JK gets a historic, unprecedented budget: Pathania

Katra, March 15: BJP Ranbir Singh Pathania spokesperson on Wednesday complimented the central government for presenting a historic and unprecedented budget for JK UT.
Addressing several public meetings in Reasi, Pathania said this budget includes every facet of social classes, gender, categories, vocations and professions.  “May it be sports, may it be power projects, may it be industry outlays, may it be women this budget provides a balanced distribution of funds”.
He said out of Rs 35,581 crore worth  grants for Jammu and Kashmir, Union Ministry of Home Affairs has proposed Rs 130 crore (Revenue) for equity contribution for 624 MW Kiru Hydro Electric Project (HEP), Rs 476.44 crore Revenue grants towards equity for 800 MW Ratle HEP, Rs 500 crore Revenue grant on account of Jhelum Tawi Flood Recovery Project and Rs 171.23 crore Revenue grants for equity contribution of 540 MW KWR HEP.
Earlier he had a detailed meetings with polling booth presidents, vistaraks, office bearers and Mandal teams and sensitised them about various legs of Mahasashaktikaran Abhiyan.
He underscored the need to reach out to the people at large acting as a bridge between people and administration and act as harbingers of the policies and programmes of central government. He had a detailed overview of various dos,   techniques and best practices as to how the party cadres can establish a better, credible rapport with the people.
He focused on making Mandals, Booths, and Pannas more vibrant and effective.
On the occasion the spokesperson also held first hand interaction with beneficiaries of centrallly sponsored schemes, especially Ayushman Bharat, PMAY, PM Kissan wherein the beneficiaries shared their valuable inputs and experiences.
Pathania said the schemes like Ayushman Bharat, JJM, Saubhagya, Atal Pension Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awaas Yojana, MGNREGA, National Literacy Mission Programme,  Pradhan Mantri Adasrh Gram Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana’ and lot more are trying to change the development scenario of Jammu and Kashmir and we have to aware people about all these schemes.
He also emphasised on the need to interact and interview the local people and check as to what is the feeling as on ground with regard to these major development pushes of Modi Sarkar.
