J&K emerges runner-up with 12 medals in sanda events

Srinagar, Nov 02: Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday emerged runner up in the Sanda events of 31st Senior National Wushu Championship-2022 held at Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex from 28th October to 2nd November 2022,
As per the official J&K emerged runner-up in sanda events with “12 Medals Winners (04) Gold, (03) Silver and (05) Bronze ” medals. Rajinder Singh (Gold), Abhishek (Gold), Surya BhanuPratap (Gold), SahilSambyal (Gold) Goutam (Silver), OwaisSarwar (Silver), Kamran (Silver)  Haqeek (Bronze), Naveed (Bronze), Showkat (Bronze) and Tanshiv Raina (Bronze) won medals respectively.
While the services sports control Board topped the list with 93 points and thus won the overall championship trophy, however, All India Police won the second overall championship with 49 points on the points table on the occasion.

Director SAI Jammu, ManeeshKacker vice President-WA, ShivenderDubeyTreasuar,  Sadat Aslam vice President J&K Wushu Association, and KuldeepHandooDronacharya awardee were the dignitaries present at the closing ceremony of the 31st senior National Wushu championship.
