Jammu, Sept 29: Ravinder Raina, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president for Jammu & Kashmir, on Sunday rallied in support for the party’s candidate, Ranbir Singh Pathania by holding a roadshow in the Udhampur East.
Raina praised Pathania’s vision and leadership and urging the people to unite behind him. “R S Pathania is not just a candidate; he is a beacon of hope for Udhampur East. His commitment to development and stability aligns with our party’s core values. I encourage everyone to vote for him and support his vision for a prosperous future,” he said.
Pathania, a senior BJP leader, reiterated his dedication to enhancing infrastructure, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment. He outlined plans for significant upgrades in roads, electricity and water supply for remote areas. “I will ensure that development reaches every corner of the constituency. I will establish more schools, colleges and healthcare centres to improve the quality of life for residents,” he promised.
Pathania said youth empowerment is central to his vision. He promised initiatives focused on skill development, job creation and entrepreneurship opportunities for the younger generation. “My commitment to inclusive development includes welfare schemes tailored for women, the elderly and marginalised communities, and to ensure that progress benefits everyone,” he said.
During the roadshow, the BJP candidate expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their “unwavering support”. He hailed them for national security and reforms which he said have positively impacted Jammu & Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370.
