Jammu rail div would boost economy, create emp opportunities: Apni Party

Srinagar, Jan 06: Apni Party senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir has welcomed the inauguration of the Jammu railway division, describing it as a long-pending demand of the people that has finally been fulfilled today.
Mir expressed hope that enhancing the railway network in Jammu and Kashmir would boost the economy by increasing trade activities and tourism, while also creating job opportunities.
According to a press release issued here, Mir while welcoming the development, said, “I am pleased that the long-awaited Jammu railway division was finally inaugurated today by the Prime Minister. I am confident this project will not only shorten distances and speed up travel for people between destinations but also contribute to infrastructure development in our region.”
He said, “The improved connectivity will ultimately boost our economy by enhancing trade and tourism industries. It will also help create additional job opportunities for our youth.”
“Establishing a new railway division has been a long-pending demand of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, and I wholeheartedly welcome this initiative,” Mir added.
