In a significant development, the Special Excise Mobile Magistrate Court No. 16 in Jammu has taken cognizance of a defamation case filed by Ghulam Mohammad Zaroori against Mehraj Din Malik under Section 499 of the Indian Penal Code.
The FIR was registered at the Gandoh Police Station.
