Bandipora, Sept 14: Former Minister and MLA Usman Majid here on Saturday intensified his election campaign across the Bandipora constituency. Majid addressed a series of meetings in various areas, including Ashtingoo, Arin, Dardpora, Ward No. 6, Kemah, Watapora, Malangam, Sumlar, Chuntimulla, Putushay, and other upper reaches. During these meetings, dozens of political workers from the Congress Party joined forces with Usman Majid.
In his address, Majid reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and upliftment of Bandipora’s poor, downtrodden, and marginalized communities. He emphasized that throughout his political career, he has focused on addressing the pressing issues affecting the most vulnerable in our community—those who have often been left behind in the development process.
Welcoming dozens of workers from Watapora into his campaign, Majid expressed his gratitude, saying, “I am humbled by their trust and support. I assure you all, I will never let you down. The message is clear—we are on the path to a decisive victory!”
Majid urged his supporters, workers and new entrants to engage in a vigorous door-to-door campaign to educate voters about the significance of this election. He said that, “Our mission and vision are resonating with every household in Bandipora, and the winds of change are sweeping through. Bandipora will rise to new heights of prosperity, leaving behind those who offered nothing but empty rhetoric. The tide has turned, and our opponents won’t be able to stand against this wave of change.”
