Ramban, Aug 29: In continuation to its proactive efforts to take healthcare to the remotest corners of the district, the District Administration Ramban, on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan, today organized a Mobile Medical Camp at Village Seripoora in Tehsil Gool under its initiative – “Hospital on Wheels”.According to a statement issued here, the initiative aims at bridging critical healthcare gaps in hard-to-reach areas by providing on-the-spot medical consultations, essential diagnostics, free medicines and vital health awareness to the rural population.A dedicated team of doctors and paramedical staff attended to over 130 patients, including 115 General OPD cases and 15 Dental consultations. The camp also conducted essential tests such as blood sugar, anemia and malaria. Screenings for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and Tuberculosis (under NTEP) were undertaken, ensuring early detection and timely intervention.Furthering the vision of digital health, 25 ABHA IDs were generated under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
