Govt will ensure equitable dev of all regions: Minister Rana

Poonch, Dec 26: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana on Thursday called for working in a mission mode to redress developmental concerns of certain regions in Jammu and Kashmir.
He was speaking during a public darbar in Mendhar, during which hundreds of delegations and individuals apprised him of their issues and grievances. Rana said equitable development of all regions is a priority of Omar Abdullah-led government.
Addressing the public darbar, the minister assured the people of inclusive development and good governance. “The aim of the government is based on the idea that everyone has a role to play in transforming their societies. The officers must remain accessible and dedicate themselves towards solving the problems of common people and improving their ease of living,” he said.
Rana assured the people that all their issues and grievances will be resolved on priority. He issued on-the-spot directions to the concerned officers for redressal of the issues projected by the deputations.
