Govt must address public issues on time: Raman Bhalla

Jammu, Apr 30: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) working president Raman Bhalla on Wednesday said the government must to address public issues in a timely and effective manner. He called upon the authorities to fulfil the aspirations of the people and attend to the concerns of all sections of society by ensuring accessible and affordable essential services.
During his visit to Nthe ai Basti area, Bhalla listened attentively to residents’ grievances and concerns, assuring them of the Congress party’s support and commitment to their welfare.
The Congress leader, according to a statement issued here, engaged with residents, understanding their problems and concerns. He assured the public that the party would extend all possible support to address their grievances.
Residents expressed gratitude for Bhalla’s visit and his willingness to listen to their concerns, the statement said, adding that the interaction instilled hope among the residents that their issues would be addressed in a timely and effective manner.
The former minister said the government is expected to function efficiently, resolving public issues in a timely and effective manner, prioritising the welfare of the people by addressing their concerns and meeting their expectations. He urged the government to consider the sentiments and needs of all sections of society and ensure that no one is left behind, fostering equitable development that benefits all segments of the population.
“By addressing public issues in a time-bound manner and fulfilling the aspirations of the people, the government can build trust and ensure the well-being of its citizens. It is essential for the government to prioritise the needs of the people and work towards providing essential services that improve their quality of life,” the Congress leader added.
