Govt constitutes Technical Committee to setup wired LAN at Civil secretariat Sgr, Jmu

Srinagar, Feb 09: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Thursday constituted a Technical Appraisal Committee (TAC) for “Setting up of wired LAN in Civil Secretariat, Srinagar & Jammu.”
As per the order, sanction was accorded to the constitution of TAC, for vetting the draft RFP for setting up of wired LAN in Civil Secretariat, Srinagar & Jammu.
The TAC will be headed by State Informatics Officer, NIC Mohd. Saleem, Director, IIT Jammu Manoj Singh Gaur or his representative to be nominated by him, Executive Director, NIELIT Deepak Wasan or his representative to be nominated by him and Senior Consultant, State e-Mission Team (SeMT) Mr. Puneet Kanth.
As per the order, the Committee shall provide technical vetting of the RFP and give recommendations regarding the provisions proposed in RFP.
“It shall also give its recommendation/suggestions on the viability of the proposed solutions in the RFP,” the order said.
The Committee shall ensure strict compliance with all rules, procedures, guidelines issued by Government from time to time while vetting the RFP.
