Srinagar, Nov 25: A high-level Core Group security review meeting was co-chaired by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 16 Corps, Lt Gen Sandeep Jain and Director General of Police (DGP), Jammu and Kashmir R R Swain.
The meeting saw the presence of senior officers from Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), intelligence agencies, and the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), in addition to key officials from the Indian Army.
The meeting, held to address the prevailing security situation, involved a thorough examination of intelligence inputs and strategic planning for enhanced synergy among security forces operating in the area.
“The collaborative effort aims to facilitate a seamless exchange of intelligence, playing a pivotal role in addressing emerging challenges and ensuring a proactive response to potential threats,” said an official.
