Srinagar, June 07: Srinagar police on Wednesday informed that they have booked a fraudster from Safakadal area of Srinagar under the Public Safety Act (PSA) for engaging in fraud, human trafficking, child labor, and cheating.
According to police the accused has been involved in fraudulent practices, including human trafficking, exploiting child labor. “Police has strongly advised people to exercise caution and thoroughly check the credentials of consultancies before hiring domestic help.”
According to reports the man in question Rizwan Ahmad Shah, owner of Shah Ji Consultancy located in Rajbagh, Srinagar. He has been arrested and is currently being lodged in Kot Balwal Jail.
In a tweet, the Srinagar police said, “One fraudster, Rizwan Ahmad Shah of Safakadal Srinagar and owner of Shah Ji Consultancy in Rajbagh, has been booked under the PSA and is now lodged in Kot Balwal Jail. He has been involved in fraud, human trafficking, child labor, and cheating. We urge the public to verify the credentials of consultancies before hiring domestic help.
It is important for people seeking domestic assistance to be vigilant and ensure they only engage with reputable consultancies to prevent falling victim to fraudulent schemes, police said.
