Fazila Jan is a young and budding sketch artist who has made mark in the field of art by making paintings of her favourite cartoons.
Hailing from Eidgah area of Srinagar,she was interested in making sketch and paintings since childhood. Her biggest achievement was portrait of her dad that she made when was 15. Since then art has become important part of her life as she represents her feelings and emotions through it.
A student of Class 11th at Kothibagh Higher Secondary School, she wanted to turn her passion into profession.
Earlier, she used to draw cartoons and after that she learned to make portraits.She has also made sketch of Indian international cricketer Virat Kohli, singer Waqar Khan, singer Ishfaq Kawa and others.
“I didn’t know anything about painting. I took help of YouTube to learn the art,” she said.
The 18-year-old artist is passionate about painting. Her parents have been very supportive and have always backed her when she was learning the art of painting.
“My parents have always supported me and guided me and I’m working hard to be successfull in this field,” she said.
Fazila said that every artist from Kashmir has inspired her and she wants to learn morein this field. She aims to learn calligraphy in future and wants to pursue a course in art after completing her 12th standard.
