Srinagar, Oct 23: In a significant effort to enhance awareness and outreach, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh is organizing Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an extensive awareness and outreach program.
The program will be held simultaneously at three prominent educational institutions: Himalayan Mission College in Rajouri, G.D. Goenka Public School in Baramulla, and Siddhartha High School in Choskor, Leh (Ladakh) on October 27, 2023.
The program aims to sensitize employers and employees in these areas about social security provisions, covering essential themes such as:
Filing Grievance & Fraud Prevention: Exploring how to file grievances on EPFiGMS, using CPGRAMS, and other relevant portals.
Education on Digital Services: Providing insights into digital platforms like UMANG, Digi Locker, etc.
Awareness and Fraud Prevention: Educating participants on common frauds and how to prevent them.
Employee Rights: Clarifying the rights of employees concerning their employers.

Rizwan Uddin, the PF Commissioner, encouraged subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employees’ representatives, and industrial chambers to actively participate in the Nidhi Aapke Nikat Program. District Nodal Officers Amit Jakhmola, Suhail Khan, and Pawan Kumar will address the events in Rajouri, Baramulla, and Leh, respectively.
During the program, attendees will receive hands-on support regarding issues like UAN Activation, Bank & Aadhaar Seeding, online claim filing, e-nominations, e-sign, and filing ECR. Additionally, any other relevant issue related to EPFO, as desired by officers or stakeholders, will be discussed.
The participants will gain insights into EPFO’s services, including benefits related to the “Social Security” schemes like the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and the enhanced quantum (up to Rupees Seven Lakhs) of Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Schemes, 1976, being provided to employees of the Union territories of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh since November 2019.
