Jammu, Dec 25: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh is set to conduct Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an awareness and outreach program, simultaneously at three venues across the region. The program will take place on December 27, 2023, at Conference Hall, IRCON, Banihal, Ramban; SIDCO, Pulwama; and EPF office, ALC Complex, Skampari, Leh.
In collaboration with the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), the Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 program aims to educate and engage employers and employees on social security provisions, the EPFO said in a press release.
The program will cover themes such as Filing Grievance & Fraud Prevention, including guidance on how to file grievances through EPFiGMS, CPGRAMS, and other portals. Additionally, there will be sessions on Digital Services (UMANG, Digi Locker, etc.), awareness and fraud prevention, and the rights of employees in relation to employers.
The program seeks broad-based participation, increased awareness, efficient grievance redressal, and the establishment of an information exchange network closer to EPFO stakeholders.
Rizwan Uddin, the P F Commissioner, encouraged subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employees’ representatives, and industrial chambers to actively participate in the Nidhi Aapke Nikat Program. District Nodal Officers, Devinder Singh, Lateef Ahmad Zargar, and Sandeep Kumar, will address the program in Ramban, Budgam, and Leh, respectively.
EPFO, Jammu, will offer handholding support to stakeholders at the respective venues, addressing their suggestions, inputs, and grievances. The program will cover issues and problems faced by organizations in implementing the EPF & MP Act, 1952. Topics such as enrollment of members, UAN activation, bank & Aadhaar seeding, online claim filing, filing of e-nominations, e-sign, and filing ECR will be covered. Attendees are encouraged to discuss any relevant issue related to EPFO.
The program will also highlight the services and benefits of “Social Security,” including the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, and the enhanced quantum (up to Rupees Seven Lakhs) of Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance Schemes, 1976, rendered to employees of the Union Territory of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh since November 2019.
