Srinagar, July 09: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Regional Office Chandigarh, has announced  its participation in “Bharat Sanrachna – Jammu & Kashmir 2025,” being held from 10th to 12th July 2025 at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar. The event is being organised under the guidance of Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Er. Gulam Ali Khatana.According to a statement issued here, this national-level exhibition is part of the “Amritkaal” vision—India’s 25-year roadmap leading up to its centenary of independence, which aims to highlight infrastructure, inclusion, and innovation. As a key pillar of the Digital India mission, UIDAI is contributing to this transformative journey by offering Aadhaar services on-ground and spreading awareness among citizens, particularly those in remote and underserved areas. At the UIDAI Pavilion, citizens will be able to update their Aadhaar details instantly and receive guidance on the mandatory biometric updates required at the ages of 5 and 15. Officials will also provide information about the M-Aadhaar mobile app, My-Aadhaar online portal, and the Bhuvan Aadhaar Seva Kendra locator. Visitors can learn how to apply for the secure PVC Aadhaar card and also access services related to Bal Aadhaar (Child Aadhaar). This outreach effort presents a unique opportunity for residents of Jammu & Kashmir to experience firsthand the convenience and efficiency that Aadhaar is bringing to digital service delivery across India. UIDAI’s participation reflects its unwavering commitment to building a digitally inclusive society, ensuring that no citizen is left behind in accessing essential identity infrastructure.Officials from UIDAI Chandigarh reiterated that the Authority remains dedicated to enhancing the ease of living for every Indian through Aadhaar-enabled services. Citizens, especially students, youth, and families from across Srinagar and neighbouring districts, are encouraged to visit the UIDAI Pavilion during the exhibition and interact with the team for any Aadhaar-related queries or assistance.
