Srinagar, Apr 23: Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu Kashmir (EJAC) has strongly condemned the recent attack on tourists in Pahalgam, expressing deep concern over the loss of innocent civilians.
EJAC President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam termed the attack as a reprehensible act of violence that not only harms the victims but also undermines the region’s efforts to promote tourism and economic development. EJAC believes that such incidents can have far-reaching consequences for the local economy and the livelihoods of people dependent on tourism.
Shabnam urged the authorities to take immediate and effective measures to ensure the safety and security of tourists in Jammu and Kashmir. He also called upon the government to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice. He further urged the authorities to provide immediate support and assistance to the victims and their families.
