Srinagar, Nov 03: The Health and Medical Education Department on Friday assigned the charge of Medical Superintendent of Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar to Dr Shabir Ahmad Sediqi.
“In the interest of administration and patient care, Dr Shabir Ahmad Sediqi, presently posted as Nodal Officer, Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir is, hereby deputed to Bone and Joint Hospital, GMC, Srinagar on inter-cadre deputation basis,” the H&ME Department said in an order.
The doctor shall also look-after the charge of Medical Superintendent in addition to his own duties till further orders.
“The above arrangement is made purely on temporary basis and shall not confer any right upon the officer to claim any preferential treatment at the time of regularization/promotions, which shall be made
strictly in accordance with the rules,” the order said.
It said that the arrangement shall be without prejudice to the outcome of writ petitions, if any, pending before any competent court of law.
